Lots of Productions and events coming up for this year!

At the beginning of March we had a fantastic music evening with songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The entertainment was provided by one of our musical directors, Michael Cox and his music partner David Strange. It was a great social gathering but also a fund raiser for STEPPS. Everyone was welcome and a great night was had by all!

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April, the young people of STEPPS are presenting The Selfish Giant. It will be held at St Teresa's Church at 2pm. This is the first time the children have put on their own production but I am sure it will be the first of many. Tickets are £4.00 for adults and £2.50 for children (under 5's free) this includes light refreshments after the show.

May 4th we will be holding a V.E. Day celebration Afternoon Tea in St Teresa's Church porch with a scrummy afternoon tea and lots of War Time fun and singing, with tombola and raffle prizes. The afternoon has become an annual event and a fitting tribute to the anniversary of the end of WW2.   It's always great fun and the best value afternoon tea around! The price is  £6 for Adults and £4 for children why not come and join us, but book early, space is limited.

8th & 9th of July we will be performing our one Act Plays. The dramatic Wuthering Heights, adapted to stage by our own talented Helen Cox and then a light comedy called 'St Genevieve's Charity Shop' to raise the mood before you go home. Wuthering Heights is perhaps the most challenging production in terms of acting that we have put together for a long time. It has really pushed the cast to be as good as they possibly can and we are sure you will enjoy this tale of lost love and bitter revenge.

Our pantomime this year is 'Snow White and the Dwarfs'. With the usual rib-tickling, corny jokes, slapstick comedy and all round good fun for young and old alike. The panto will run for 3 nights and 2 matinees. Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd at 7.15pm and then Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th at 2pm. Tickets are available online and by ringing the numbers listed on this website. Book early to avoid disappointment.
